Hi Leaders! We are very excited to introduce this blog as a tool for you. We have received positive feedback from our question and answer time during the leaders rally and hope to extend that time by using this blog. Communicating with other leaders can offer us encouragement, ideas and even solutions to some of the difficulties we encounter. We would love for you to post questions you may have about leading your group, and  we hope that  you leaders will  be the ones to offer up suggestions and answers. How cool is it that we can learn from each others experience. Let's get started!!!

Serving at Christmas

I am looking for serving ideas for my life group for the christmas holiday. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: LifeGroup Leader's Roundtable

I know it's not very glamorous but Kid Ventures could really use the help during the Holiday services. A lot of their regular volunteers go out of town and an entire group that was willing to serve for a service or two would really speak volumes to them! This doesn't really get people fired up like handing out turkeys to the homeless or building houses or something... but the need is just as great! For kids with serious problems at home, this one hour service might just be the highlight of their Christmas season! You can email if you're interested!

Re: LifeGroup Leader's Roundtable

Here are a few GCO opportunities:
Saturday December 1st: Outreach Sunday meet at 8:00 am here at the church. We will be serving an inner city church plant by helping them paint and clean up their building.
Thursday December 6th: Angel Tree Christmas Party will be hosted right here at CedarCreek Church from 6pm to around 9pm. All the kids from our angel tree program will be invited to this event. There will be desserts, refreshments a little entertainment and we will pass out the Christmas gifts to them as we celebrate Christmas.
Saturday December 15th: Solid Rock Christmas Party will be from 9:00am to 1:30pm. We will be serving a Christmas meal for about 500 people. We take care of serving the meal for the kids and their parents while Solid Rock Church ministers to the kids and passes out Christmas presents to each child. The presents are provided by CedarCreek’s “Adopts a Child” program.
