I know many of you are getting anxious to get started on the new construction (I am also). It looks like we are getting closer as all of the legal requirements are beginning to wrap up. I am still guessing that things will get moving around the second week of November. Thanks to all who have signed up to help (over 200 so far). This project can not happen without you.
Some folks are concerned that they have not heard from anyone yet. Please be patient as we are still getting organized and trying to establish the best way to communicate with everyone the latest news. Until we do, this blog is the place for the latest updates. Thanks again to everyone...I can't wait to serve Jesus with each and every one of you.

Re: Building Update
Just to keep everyone in the loop... the required drawings are coming along nicely. We will be filing for a building permit on or around November 9th. If we can work it out with the code officials, we will file for an "early start" permit. This will allow us to get going on non-structural demolition and framing. Permits are typically running 2 weeks for approval but we are hoping and praying for a quicker turn around. If the official will allow it, I will "walk through" the permit with him which usually is a three day turn around. Looking forward to seeing everyone out at DeVeaux!
