The programming team is currently planning the Christmas services for this year.  I would love to hear what part of our Christmas services you like and which portions you think we could change.

Re: Christmas

I LOVE the music at CedarCreek. And I LOVE rock music. But am I the only one who would prefer something a little more traditional and have less emphasis on rock music for Christmas? Maybe less guitars and more emphasis on vocals? Just a thought, thanks for asking...

Re: Christmas

Two words...
Flaming hula-hoops.

O.K. that's three actually.

Re: Christmas

I love the first Christmas service I was at about 4 years ago when the emphasis seemed to me to be on the GIFT of Jesus himself . It was stricking and for the first time I really understood CHRISTmas. I do not wish to offend or sound as if I did not like thelt couple of years, but it seemed more like a performance than a service. Does that make sence. Your work is beautiful and whatever you do it truly is glorification to God. May you be richly blessed this season. Sincerely in Christ, Shelly

Re: Christmas

My family only comes to church on Christmas. The past few years they have come it has been the same type of service and they left less excited than the year before. Is there a way to keep the message of Jesus compelling and exciting but spice things up a bit?

Re: Christmas

Thanks for the comments, Shelly. I totally agree that if it's not 100% about Christ, it is pretty much a waste of time.

Re: Christmas

My family and I visted Cedar Creek on a Christmas eve night and we were previously searching for a church to call home after a two year search. God said that I was having a desert experience but He wasn't going to leave me and my family there and we came to the Christmas eve service almost 2 years ago and I knew that this was the church for us. Everything about the service was awesome, the lights, the mood, the music , the speakers and the message. Just let the Holy Spirit move as He wants. I was the one of Pastor Lee's blog that said I was so offended when I knew that Cedar Creek had cup holders. Well, now I enjoy using the cupholder. Its an awesome church with awesome people that really love the Lord and others. God Bless you all. Karen

Re: Christmas

Good comments by everybody. Let me change the question just a bit. What should our Christmas service look like so that it will have the most impact possible on visitors who are not yet followers of Christ?
